Alice is 25% done with The First to Die at the End (They Both Die at the End, #0)

I said it when I walked in. I just want to know why Deathcast is even a thing and was hoping a prequel would give me an answer. And though they keep teasing to the creator of the business and the Apple representative/tech support style training of the staff, I feel like I’m about to be played.

The romance is so cringe. The first book was better for this and still luke warm. Dunno if I can pick it back up…

Alice is 69% done with Stay True

Love his writing. His description of Crossroads struck a deep chord within me. The way he describes Master P perfectly captured my emotions during that era. I could read his descriptions of music from my youth for days (and likely will now that I’ve discovered his writing—I’m uncultured, I know). Perhaps my fondness for this book is influenced by our shared Asian American experience, but I’m enjoying it.

Having to go back and forth listening to her hilariousness and looking in book for pics. I've been listening at 1.75x and slowed it down to normal just now and I'm not happy. She sounds much more like Codex at 1.75 or higher... Just FYI.
