Only 80 pages in and I'm booored. Everything that has happened so far could be compressed into 20 pages.
Think I'm going to regret this one and have to drag myself through it

435 pages. Strange book, meandering story. This was my 2nd Joe Hill and I don't think I will read any more by this author

82 pages in and I want to throw this book across the wall. Eye rolling at the cliche baddies and cringing at some of the language use as I can tell the author is Australian even though this is set in America which is something I hate. I have seen the word hunk twice and although I'm an old fart and not up to speed with teenage slang I can't see a 16 year old American referring to a guy as a hunk *shudder* ugh.

After the first few pages I already wanted to throw this across the room, now I'm 100 odd pages in and am so bored. The characters are meh, any supposed erotic moments are just snoozyworthy and eye rolling 😴 I started skimming after about page 30 which I hate doing but have to finish as once I've started I've got to read til the end. Snore
