Annoyed by how much this book has hooked me already

Oh this book is going to make me cry

Listening to this for client research! (Not because of anything regarding my parents lol)

Third time reading for class? Wild.

Lowkey a lot of what she’s describing as “fawn response” from trauma overlaps with mental type ocd diagnostic criteria. Will report back if she addresses this. It’s a blurry area and why accurate client conceptualization is ongoing and important.

Making myself finish the library book I’ve had for 4 months. also, heck this book is good and hard.

It would appear (unfortunately) that my therapist was right to recommend this book 😔✌🏻
