Very good account of the very early organized Royal British Navy in the 17th century. This book is not a listing of ships, or battles, but rather a detailed description of almost every aspect of the Royal Navy at that time, including dockyards, ship design, navigational issues, pay, food, recruiting (and pressing…), rank structures etc., etc.
A great book for the Naval enthusiast!
