I've read so much Dramione this year, I've read none of the books on the Goodreads Choice Awards. None of them. Zero. Not one.
I don't know if that says something about me or the awards.

Kinda wanna keep on with my TBR.
Kinda wanna read On the Island again.

Decisions, decisions...

You don't have to like the book It Ends With Us.
You don't even have to like Colleen Hoover.
But after seeing an advanced screening of the movie, I can promise you it's been made with the utmost respect and sensitivity for DV victims.
This movie is going to save lives and save families. So please, please don't jump on the hate train. Whether you like it or not, it has some important work to do.

When you see someone going on a rampage of 1 star reviews and wonder if they even like reading in the first place...

Also, I'm so far behind on my challenge now, since I hardly picked up a book the entire time I was gone. Lol

I find it so interesting watching people "discover" and read books from 10, 12, 15 years ago. The writing styles and standards were SO DIFFERENT back then! I hesitate to do re-reads of those books because I don't want to ruin my memory of them. lol

Supposedly Ear Candy is listed in today's Kindle Daily Deal. I have no idea how that happened, but I guess that means I did something right!! You may as well snag it while it's 99¢!

Went to Venice last week. There are no cars, scooters, bikes, vehicles of any sort. The mail delivery is done with these pull carts.
I walked past one and what was on top? An Amazon box.
They have clearly taken over the world...

I can see when and where you signed up for my newsletter.
I can see you opened every one for the last 8 months.
I can see you clicked on every single free book for every single promo I've done during that time.
And I can see that when you unsubscribed, you reported me as spam.
I can see it.
I just can't figure out why.
*scratches head*

And not for lack of trying.
I'm gonna cry if I don't hit my GR goal.
Cue sad face.

Curiosity question:
Anyone read a series where the couple gets together in the first book, and in the 5th or 6th book (or whenever), they call it quits or one of them dies?
I've read a bunch where people die, but never when they had a book where they go together first!
It might cause outrage, but it's an interesting premise.

When Goodreads says you're behind by 4 books on your challenge, but you read four additional books. They just aren't on GR yet. ACK!

Sometimes I read a review and think, "Wow! That was a great review!"
And sometimes I read a review and think, "What an odd critique," and then I'm perplexed until I can stop thinking about it.

I'm hoping SOMEONE on Goodreads can answer this question:
I get that some authors don't want their fanfics on GR because they're highly personal and reviews are touchy. Totally respect that. But in a totally selfish feeling, if I am going to read 450k words, I want to log it on my GR challenge! Is there a work around or way I can manually change my book count? Something that gives me credit without adding a book?

When someone likes your book so much they're posting highlights. ***cries all the happy tears***

I counted today and it turns out, this week it's 8. EIGHT! How am I behind on my GR challenge??

Leaving for Holidays with the Belles in just over 12 hours. Good thing I have an audiobook! Maybe I'll catch up on my challenge!!

Yes I KNOW I'm 2 books behind on my challenge Goodreads. But you have to make concessions for the 500k+ Dramione's I read. It's only fair.

I think my romance reading loving heart is broken. I cannot get into anything contemporary!! I guess I'll be sticking with paranormal, fantasy, and memoirs for a while. *sigh*
