Kind of stuck now, after reading a super typical description of a women by a male author. Very few women that i know stop to "write up mental report cards of themselves" in the level of detail that this one woman did in chapter 7. blech
Oh and yeah, then there is the crown prosecutor guy and his wife bit which was a little cringe inducing. not sure if i'm going to bother

So when you get LASIK and can't look at screens for awhile as you recover you listen to a lot of audiobooks...and podcasts. This leaves a lot of updates happening in a short span of time.

This was disappointing. I had issues with the characters, the plot, the pacing, the everything. Not what I expected and boy with the time.

I've finished the the Jews vs Alien half and found them all to be quite enjoyable. I enjoyed the humour in several of them but my favourite so far is Rachel Swirsky's "The Reluctant Jew".

I had this out on audiobook - big mistake. Narrators was puttign on some weird kind of mid-western idiot accent for this guy in New York, kept emphasizing the wrong part of Hebrew words. I'm waiting for the hold I have on the paper version to come in to continue.

I'm at the part where it changes from something I couldn't put down, to something I just don't want to pick up. Does it get better?

I give up. I just don't care what happens.

So interesting and a fun read.
