This is a fascinating uptake on Mary Byshe Shelley’s Frankenstein theme. The ideas are quite modern, and the horror through the heroine’s eyes quite real. It amazes me how Shelley anticipated so much modern medicine is able to do, albeit in a gothic mode. Looking forward to the next instalment in the necromancer series.
