the jinni and the golem interaction (finally) so cute,i guess im not dropping this book afterall. But still pls there be another muslim character that is proper and not deranged.

Literally no reason to make the Jinni straight. (also yes i just read that the 2 are gonna be soulmate, thank u for the spoiler, summary!) Also a weird depiction of middle eastern Angels there, another inaccuracy i cant shake. I can bear that Djinns here isn't a supernatural version of humans, but that Angel..

At first I was disappointed bc when the Golem introduced as a woman i knew what the Jinni would be, yes a man. They're supernatural creatures would Gender matter to them? Yes in here they took form as humans. Also is it too much to ask for one of them to be gay?

If u kept saying ur lady friend the most beautiful in the world, then ur gay i dont make the rules. Also poor carmille, the MC actually counted how many times shes angry. This is why u cant be too perfect of a person someone (even ur dearest) would count ur flaws.

Pairing up myfanwy and gestalt as counterparts with same rank is def one of the smartest thing this book ever did

Everything felt normal-ish until Gestalt came in.
Also i spot faults in the narrative. Idk maybe its bc the writing style is similar to my own. Although i shouldnt compare bc this is already a published book and mine is still in the draft trash.

I had to force shut this book down. Surely it cannot get worst than this? I meant worst being in a good way being shit went down so hard. I really cannot predict whats going to happen, what kind of more creepy shit after this. I am not prepared.

I can't stop reading. Sent chill down my spines when I read it before bed. I haven't read much horror mystery so I am really looking forward for finishing this. Despite that, this book has really intriguing setting and characters, I felt terribly sympathetic with the ladies. I hope the story still continue as good and as the creepy parts.
