proselytizing, slow-moving, trite
Girl doesn’t have enough wood for the fire, god delivers wood and a future husband, baby dies and the focus is on how god blew money across the field into a grieving mother’s hands. Just couldn’t finish. The story of the family deserved better treatment. I did love his other book, and had high hopes for this one. Oh well.

I'm going to shelve this as a *maybe* finish later. Halfway in. Too rambly for me, but the characters are interesting. Just doesn't seem to "go" anywhere.

Great book to digest slowly. I'd recommend getting a non-kindle version.
