Although I was not won over by the first of the three books in this collection, I was totally enthralled by the second. I detoured to read The Crime at Black Dudley, the book that introduces her main character, Albert Campion. The third book is not a Campion book, and reviews say it veers from the mystery genre into a character study. I will read it later, now that I’m hooked on Campion.
