Heat poured off his body like a stove, and he smelled delicious. I bet that’s what rats thought about the cheese right before the trap snapped their necks.

I love this book. I have read it so many times. Listening, hopefully the narrator does a good job.

This is seriously bothering me, the heroine offering to go bare with a known man-whore without any convo.

I hate racial stereotypes in books. Ms Ayers' modern day hero is using language from the 1950's to emphasise his Australianism. It's like the overuse of Scottish brogue, it just comes across as fake.

So the book is called Buns and I had been wondering why we had got to 20% and the heroine hadn't been down the mountain to the local town, let alone met the local baker, then I suddenly got it. That'll teach me for not reading the blurb
