That first story hits hard.

"The Pentagon" is one of the coolest stories I've read recently.

That was easily one of the oddest, yet most striking, vampire stories I have read. Like Dracula by way of Tuck Everlasting .

I'd accuse this book of being a little romantic (in the fantasy sense), but my grandparents met during WWII when my grandmother went to visit her cousin in the hospital and my grandfather was his roommate and paralyzed at the time from a bullet in his spine. Since I'm here, you know how the story ends. :)

Why is this listed as part of My Happy Marriage? They're not at all related and not even by the same author.

Actually reading the first edition, from 1896.

This is the best written kind of dumb book I've read in a while.
