Finding it very interesting so far.

I’m not sure how far I’ve actually gotten since I’m listening via podcast, but this is stressful! In a good way I guess. I need to know what in the world is going on so I’m listening all the time!

10 chapters in, “who is the monster?” Right now (prior to the creature’s tale) I’m thinking both? Victor played God, created life in an evil way, then entirely abandoned it. If man fell under the care of a perfect God, what hope does this poor, knock-off Adam have with not even imperfect human guidance?
I don’t want to give anything away because if you have only seen the old movies you will be shocked.

I’m listening to this on the Storytime for Grownups podcast in between installments of David Copperfield.

This is so good so far. It’s really challenging me on my attitudes towards the current politics. It’s causing me to pray a lot.

Okay the stuff he’s reading aloud to put on Titiana’s shelf! 😳 perhaps he should leave that to Helen. I remembered the read aloud part when it started and I skipped ahead. I think he was laughing about it…sense of humor must have been pretty dark after the war

Also there’s an offensive word in one of the titles. I didn’t remember that at all.
