Why in the name of all that is sensible do they go to his place to shower and cut the chains off instead of going straight to the blinking police station to record evidence of abuse?!! How is he making any money in this field? At this point, I am officially struggling to finish this book. Ugh! I want to hit them both!

I'm kind of stuck. He's put her in such an awkward position and I just couldn't bear to see the isht hit the proverbial fan. Something about this book just turned me off. Though I totally devoured all the other Celia Kyle/Erin Tate stuff so not sure why this one just didn't ring my bell. Maybe I'll come back to it...
