Very hard to understand the brutality of some people. This books shows the good, the bad, and the ugly of human nature. I can really relate to the feelings and determination of some of the characters. So far so good, but a lot to think about!

I knew how this was going to end as soon as I started to read, but it was a fun read along the way. Wanted to slap the winey, spoiled, ungrateful daughter, but hey that's what a lot of young people are today! Too bad the story was so real to life.
