finally met the giver ! and omg i forgot the thing about the colors

this isn't my most fav children's book i've read recently but i'm still having a grand ole time in the Met

i literally don't remember reading this at all in school even though i know i did. but it's really good so far. i can see why it's read in schools for sureeee

if i was allowed to get a tattoo at 14 years old it would've been the iconic line from this page "she looked like art, and art wasn't suppose to look nice; it was suppose to make you feel something"

and thank god you can't get a tattoo at 14

re reading this for the first time since i read it in age middle school/early high school? (i can't remember) but omg this is just the exact feeling of having a crush.
and being 16

i'm having the time of my life with these sisters

btw i'm laughing out loud these sisters are awesome

i missed percy

i'm finishing this tonight it's awesome

i never read this as a kid, but i really liked the movie! flying through this and having a good time doing it


(and also realizing that it was a REALLY good movie adaptation)

been rereading this for awhile but i didn't want to curse it because i haven't finished a book in what feels like forever

third act break up pissing me off
