Delightful

Mary Pipher never disappoints. This is a well written book weaving together the experiences of several women experiencing aging in North America. I do believe, however, that most of those interviewed were lower middle class at least.
The experience of women in poverty or of women of colour may not be as well reflected here. That said , an uplifting and hopeful read for anyone experiencing the better side 50.

I have had this book recommended to me by a couple different people and found a lot of the ideas, though not new to me, were presented through stories that made it easy to digest.

I 'read' the audio version and found myself stopping to make notes along the way. Going to try some of these techniques in my regular life and in my work life starting with just one habit -not reading email first thing.

Great read for anyone starting a newsletter. Going back to read it again.
