I don't tend to add my "work" books onto my goodreads because I keep those two types of reading seperate for my reading challenge and in my head. But this is so good so far that I have to put it on here so more people get the chance to see it. I'm loving the details about OT and how that impacts the NT. Reveling how our completely removed and innacurate understanding of one shapes the other.

I'm reading this via audiobook. So far so good. Despite being the youngest protagonist of Ali's that I've read Mallory seems like the most mature. The book isn't overly trope heavy so far and I'm genuinely intrigued. It also feels much fresher than love theoretically which felt like a flatter version of the love hypothesis. I'm devouring this book and trying to listen whenever I have a spare moment.

So far so good. Easy to read and to do so quickly. Astoundingly I have never actually read the OG scarlet pimpernel and genuinely don't know what is going to happen. If I had realised the story was this compelling I would have read it years ago.

Although I'm rather confused about what the point of vampires is in this so far but we will see.

I forgot how much I loved this book. It's one of those books that you actively want to read and look forward to binge reading instead of TV. For me I love it as much as the acotar series. I'm re-reading before reading the sequel and I really hope book 2 lives up to book 1.
