After reading “a little life” needed a huge breather. Happy September everyone and happy reading! Finally starting a new book today.

DNF because my nervous system can’t handle this but nevertheless, brilliant writing. I just can’t with the layers of trauma in this one. On to the next….

Oh gawd this author is sooo extreme. I’m gonna puke. Ughhhh. Traumatic af.

Sigh. Where is the happy ending in this story!?!???

I hate brother Luke so much right now. Uggggh. I’m disgusted what happened to teenage Jude.

“Being single at forty is different from being single at thirty and with every year it becomes less understandable, less enviable, and more pathetic, more inappropriate.” Awwww Jude.

wOwwww.

JB you are so wrong for doing what u did. OMGGGGGG.

Poor Jude. I hate that he sees himself as a burden.

This might be one of my favorite chapters so far. The way it touches on happiness, success, and friendship…and Jude being such a good friend just hurts. Ugh. Poor Willem.

I absolutely hate JB so much right now. Narcissistic “friend”.

Damn, I am so sad for Jude rn.

Ugh, noooo. Character attachment is so real. My heart. brb crying.

JB Being MESSY as hell when he’s high. I can’t stand him. Smh

Anxiety from 0-100. Poor Willem, I feel for him. On to the next chapter. JUDE, why do u do this!?

OMGGGG Jude. Noooo. Entered chapter 3, just five pages in. Mood went from Monday to traumatic. Dayummmm!

I feel for Malcom in this chapter. He finally has self-awareness. I love how Hanya breaks down each character’s personalities.

I haaaate Willem’s parents. Show some damn FEELINGS!!!!! *crying* Poor Willem. This was really -his chapter-

So far I like everyone but JB seems like a douche bag lmao. Next chapter.

🥱

Painfully contrived. Ugh this entire chapter was so cliché. Next! 🥱

Interesting chapter. The title should’ve been “computer love” imo.
