Forgot to add this one to my shelf. Going well so far, I like the writing, simple but efficient. Can't say I love it, though. Some important bits seemed rushed, and too much telling. For example, when she tried to get something sent to her village, I expected it to be more developed. Instead it was barely 3 tiny phone pages, and then she instantly gave up and took a different route.

Finally got to the epic battle but was awfully disappointed with the sudden switch to present tense. It was very jarring and distracting. Instead of enjoying the awesome scene, WTF bulbs kept flashing in my head.
