DNF’d I didn’t like that these strangers in the professional hockey just openly accepted the main character after meeting her one time in a previous book. “Hey I know I only met you for 10 mins last year but yes come stay in my house with my goalie husband even tho we don’t know you and could be a psycho” the friendship was too rushed for my liking and she just trusts strangers with her kid?!?

DNF’d at 53%, what was left after the major part? Then she wants to be his sub and she loves him after a couple weeks of knowing him, fully knowing he hasn’t gotten over his dead wife?? The FMC just lacked something for me to grab on to and like her. She was just annoying and he wasn’t any better. I’m all for the spicy scenes but I felt like that’s all there was in the beginning. No real depth for me

I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it as MM is not something I read. But halfway thru I found that I’m sad for both characters. Don’t worry, I won’t give spoilers but I will continue. I like the timeline and how it shows when they first met and as they navigate this relationship, which I use loosely

DNF’d 53%, I just couldn’t get into it. Idk if there was some magical realism thrown in there but it just wasn’t working for me. Soulmates but fake dating and there’s a time limit on i?. But I can see how some would like this.

I had 2 hours left on my Spotify audiobooks after reading Mate so I decided to pick up where I was in this book. My ears!! This man is 42 and the narrator sounded like an old man and it gave me the ick. I’ll definitely continue to read using my eyeballs
