Ruth/Gruth is just hard to like. At this point she is forcing touch/bond/sex on Gron. She doesn't even care why he doesn't want to or what it could possibly mean for him. So selfish.

Ok I hate to put down a book with out finishing or at least trying to finish it. I take back my comment about her being a negative stereotype of a black woman. She really isn't that at all. She is just a regular b***hy queen. Very unlikable character to me. Keeping that in mind I'm will try to finish the book.

So far it seems the author made Adrienne the typical negative stereotype of a black woman. Not sure if I will waste my time reading any more of this book. Putting it down for now.

Wondering if I'll get through this book. The heroine is already irritating me.
