Just finished “Red Herring Season,” book 22 of The Freeman Files. I’d actually put the book at a 3.5 🌟 rather than a 4🌟, but I think my reasoning is subjective. Have you ever got close to the end of a book or series & you can see the writing on the wall? I feel that’s what this book said to me as I was reading along, & I think my heart broke.

So, much time has passed since I was last on goodreads. One NYR I made this year was to make sure I reviewed 100 books this year. I set my challenge for 200 books, so cross your fingers for me!

🤦🏻‍♀️I've done it again. I went on a reading binge. My review list has grown longer again and that doesn't include the reviews I need to write previously on here. Part of me knows I should write down all the books I need to review on a checklist so I know to do them. The other part of me says read the another book on my growing to read list.

ah yeah. . . and I just commented on this too. I am in a slump. I just finished DC & even read file 1000! *dancing* But sadly, I don't feel like reading any books, so I looked at anime or asian dramas to catch up on. I settled on BSSM Crystal. & now I feel like reading the manga again.

I know, it's light. Although I cry in almost every arc, so . . . well it will hold while I am getting over this summer flu

Read up to file 999! of Detective Conan . . . just have to finalize the reviews.

I am not doing too well right now. I cannot decide if it's because I am feeling sick or it's just me. I still cannot find the perfect way to express what I felt about The Convenient Marriage and I have only made it up to chapter 12 of Storm Front (sad thing about this is, I've read the book at least twice before this, but I am not being drawn in!)

What is wrong with me?!

ok totally cannot get into this book yet. & I just read the prologue. I love LNs, so I don't know why this is bothering me so much.

ok, I have made my choice, I am going to re-read this one, mainly because it's my favorite in the series. Review will be posted and I will feel I have accomplished something. Yeah \(ˆ⌣ˆ)/. I might or might not go back to My Savior, we will see. But at least one M will be done for my challenge too. Go me!

oy, still cannot decide on a book to read, but I have lots of choices for my PNR Spelling Challenge. Which should I choose: ultimate antihero 1, a light novel? One of Alanea Alder's, which I need to review? Go back to finishing Rurouni Kenshin, Volume 01, because I need to fangirl Saito?

I feel like I am on the Titanic. Iceberg ahead.

I am sad again, but not because I am disappointed with the book, but rather because I want to continue this series. I have to wait until the release on May 20 . . . never have I look forward to my brother's birthday so much.

ok, so technically, I have finished. I just don't know how I feel about the book. Did I like the ending or more did I accept it? I guess I feel it might incomplete, but if there is another book in the series, do I want to read it? So, I am taking a break. I am leaving it on here as unfinished as I think it over. Why do I want to give it 2 1/2 STARS or possibly 3 when I actually liked the story. UGH!

ok, taking a break. Andrew is whining again. My head hurts from all the times I roll my eyes. The next book in the series is his, and I am contemplating dropping the series rather than see him get his HEA. Because, really?!

Just finished My Defender by Alanea Alder . . . as well as all the previous titles leading up to it! Reviews will be written by Sunday to express how much I love this series and cannot wait until the next one!

I got up to chapter 7 or 8 before turning in last evening, but while trying to sleep, I thought of a scene from Devil's Cub by Georgette Heyer, so yes, now I just HAVE to read that book before I can continue.

Must take out book decision die. Newest books by Alanea Alder, G.A. Aiken this month, so can reread up to those books. Add another old standby, like LOTR or P&P for reread. Finish off with a manga or LN. (Note to self: New to get 8, 10, 20 sided die to upgrade book decision die)

Just finished watching Boss and Me, based on 杉杉来吃 - Come and Eat, Shan Shan! ◦°˚\(*❛‿❛)/˚°◦ 2 thumbs up, but honestly I recommend you read the book first. Also finished Really, Really Miss You by Mo Bao Fei Bao and am starting 蜜汁炖鱿鱼 Stewed Squid with Honey. As for dramas, I have neglected Another Miss Oh ٩(๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و

Still reading Really, Really Miss You by Mo Bao Fei Bao, but got sucked into C-Drama Boss and Me based on 杉杉来吃 - Come and Eat, Shan Shan ٩(^‿^)۶. 6 more chapters to go & then I will be starting 蜜汁炖鱿鱼. . . only Boss and Me has 33 episodes !⑈ˆ~ˆ!⑈ Fighting!

Taking a short break from Really, Really Miss You by Mo Bao Fei Bao. The story is sweet & I highly recommend it for fans of food, as well as Classical Chinese music. Or if you squee over CV. . . ;). But the chapters include music videos & they can be heart wrenching

Just binged on C-Drama Love O2O, which is based on Gu Man's Chinese light novel 微微一笑很倾城 Just One Smile Is Very Alluring & plan to watch the screen adaptation of the same name later! Totally fangirling over here! Less than 3 days and 5 hrs sleep. Highly recommend the book & drama . . . I might even re-read it *sigh* So sweet.
