soooo weird to read the common colds/“would a two weeks quarantine work” chapter post-2020.

overall, I think my dad would *love* this book

“Over here we have an identity,” she said doubtfully. “We can make something of our lives. Over there, life is unknown.”

The inner conflict of weighing whether to stay in one’s home country or to leave is unfortunately very #relatable to me atm.
