A lot of information...

I don't know if I have any right to say this considering the subject matter of of a lot of my writing, but some of the passages about the killing and torture of animals in this book are tough to read. Having said that, it's kept me engaged and less than halfway through I've already learned a great deal about this era.

For all of its flaws, this is an important work.
