Woking to finish this book. And yup, it is a bit of work. Somewhere in here is a good plot, but boy, at times, it's hard to delve through all the excess to get to that story.

Had a bit of a difficult time getting into the one. The plot interests me, but the writing style is somewhat .... fussy and angsty with shed loads of internal dialogue about, well, everything. But either the author has let up a bit with that, or I'm getting used to the style.

So far so good ..... very sexy, great sex scenes ..... but Wentworth (the lordly MC) is starting to bother me. He alludes to the past - but can't quite seem to remember what happens. Say, what?

I must admit I simply LOVE the title of this book. I haven't read many Regencies lately, but they are a favorite so I'm looking to this one.

So far, so good. I read the second book in this series first, and started this one with some trepedition hoping it was not as slow and ponderous as the other book. But I'm really enjoying this relationship between Josh (a self-described "boring, judgmental, vanilla, arrogant delight you see before you") and Michael, the charasmatic doctor who Josh first meets in a bathhouse in flagrante delicto.

Okay, still on the mountain. Still finding it charming how they are keeping the fire going, taking bark off trees, melting snow, foraging, tending to Damen's wounded leg ..... but let's get down off that mountain!

Just starting the new Dreamspinner printing of Marie Sexton's "Never a Hero" in the Tucker Springs series, formerly printed by Riptide Publishing.

Although our intrepid MCs are on the edge of a mountain trying to survive a blizzard long enough to be rescued after their helicopter crashed ..... this STILL has least angst than a typical Amy Lane book, IMHO. Really liking this one!

Where the HELL was I when the ARCs for this book came up on NetGalley? I totally missed this ... can't wait to start reading this last book in the series (and seeing if I was right about who is the Seven of Spades)

Hhmmpp - not quite feeling the interest in one of the MCs, Dieter, who is the hockey player. His character is not really "popping" so far, while the other MC - figure skater, Trent - is definitely holding my interest.

I'm frickin' enchanted by this book! Loving just about every page.

I'm truly amazed by this story - a mix of fantasy, myth and magic - set in the timeless deserts where Bedouins traverse the ever-changing landscape on camels. Just when you think this tale is set in some far past days, you learn that the Bedouin life co-exists with current modern life in Cairo, where the later part of the story is set. It's beautifully written and I can't wait to see where this all leads.

It took a while to really get into this tale, but at about the half-way point I am totally enthralled with The Murder and this fascinating cast of characters!

Still loving this! Witt did a great job of creating the foundation for this unlikely husband-for-pay tale and I am totally in.

"Shattered" is right - this story will break your heart, and then slowly restore your hope. Unbelievably well-written.

Holy craaaaaap. Becoming a Navy SEAL is an unbelievable process. It's learning that the human body can do ten times more than the mind allows you to believe. It's hell .... and then there's Hell Week.

I can't believe this book came out and slipped under my radar! Loved the first two books in the series and can't wait to dive in!

LOVING this so far. Jensen does a great job of world building and pulling you into the story - interesting MCs (Gael has a dark past), interesting circumstances and I can't wait to see how this tale evolves!

... the hell I know what I'm reading here. Is it time travel, a conspiracy, mental illness, or a weird combination of all of the above? This is such a "dense" plot that I fear I'm missing something, and wonder if everything means something ..... or nothing? AARRGGHH.

Hmph ... one MC has been pining for the other for two years. He tells the other MC, who basically goes "Oh, I love you, too" and then they move onto this plan for taking down the other MC's jerk of a father. I dunno ...

Okay, Adam is a bit of an ass ..... no, he's more of a straight-up jerk that I want to bitch slap .... extensively.

This story is deeply moving, and I was reading it during lunch today wiping away the tears.

Currently on sale for $1 at Harmony Press. After reading Todd's review ( https://www.goodreads.com/review/show... ) I just HAD to read this!

About 1/3 of the way through .... loving this book but it is a very different book than The Palisades. If you didn't like the insta-love in The Palisades - give The Garden a try. It's a story of two men with a lot of damage (but it's not an angst-fest - no worries) that slowly learn to trust one another. I'm liking this one a LOT!

Loving this book. Interesting plot that definitely feels your interest and it's just getting very hot and steamy and .... umm, leathery.

Oh, hockey I love you! I love you with the white-hot passion of a thousand suns .... and a M/M hockey romance by Avon Gale? Woo woo!

Going to start listening to the audio book of Femme - narrated by the AMAZING Joel Leslie!
