TW: If addiction or stories relating to addiction are triggering for you then this may not be the book for you. To see what Cal goes through going back to his hometown and just trying to survive there is truly hard to read. The entire town has a dislike for him that makes your heart hurt. Its also sad to read about the inner turmoil he goes through every time something happens that makes him want to drink.

I DNF the book. I couldn’t get into the writing of the book and it wasn’t the easiest to follow along. I usually love YA books but this one as a little too over the place for me. I was going to wait until page 100 but I fee after 64 pages there would be something to grab my attention. Not even Christmas vibes which is what I wanted it for.

For being a book I bought at the Dollar Store, it has been pretty good. Unfortunately I am this far along and Shallie has fallen in love with Hunt? This is their second encounter with each other and you are already in love with the dude? Their relationship was pretty rushed in this aspect. I mean I'm only on page 94.. She can fall in love with him down the road when there has been more of a connection.
