Ok these are fun lighthearted little books but this particular plot point is really irking me. As much as I love the trope of “supernatural person has inner feral beast they must constantly fight to contain”, this scene is giving more of “FMC must emotionally regulate MMC after just experiencing something traumatic”. I get it’s his protective instincts but… sigh.
