so good to reread. undisputedly my favourite book. even just rereading the opening chapters, it’s so clear how much this has influenced my own writing, down to the meter of the prose. just the best. people following me on goodreads - if you haven’t checked out the English translation of this by anthony rudolf, please do x

awh, so good to be reading again!! going through the non fiction that I’ve been meaning to read for ages. really interesting stuff. it turns out that, on top of all my other boring interests, I find legal non fiction fascinating. obviously quite the combination of interests for me: legal history. very excited to read thru it!
