Have finished Part 1: I like this idea, but I had to be reminded to go back and read the bits in Italic, since I usually want to skip over those anyway as irrelevant to the story. Have been clued in that this is not the case.

This is possibly the first book with a non-linear structure that I've enjoyed so much.
