We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves
What did I just read? I enjoyed the first part of the book, but then it went all downhill for me. Was not interested in it at all.

The Heaven & Earth Grocery Store
Good writing, good characters, some be dry good moments, however it wasn’t my favourite. 2.5 stars.

We Spread
The oddest little read. I burned through it, and am still trying to figure out what I read. I’m between a 3 and a four—I’m intrigued and was invested, but never wowed.

The Winners (Beartown, #3)
I read another review that said ‘there are stories that make you feel everything’ and I think that encapsulates Backman’s writing perfectly. He’s just so good.

Pigs in Heaven (Greer Family, #2)
My first book by this author—a bookclub pick. It took me awhile to get into it, but I did, and ended up liking it. Particularly because of some of the great dialogue between the characters.

Night Road
Hannah has such a great way of writing that makes me emotionally invested in her characters. Great read.

Mexican Gothic
Didn’t hate it, didn’t love it. It was a little slow, some repetitive scenes, but the story was intriguing. Francis was endearing and I liked rooting for him.

And Every Morning the Way Home Gets Longer and Longer
This was such a beautiful read. A love letter with so many touching moments. One of my favourite: “He remember each of the very first times he saw her, he hides those pictures as far from the rain as he can”. ❤️

The Stranger In Our Home
Meh. Quick read. Not much to it, other than the ramblings of the main character. The story line was pretty flat, mindless, but slightly entertaining.

Brutal. Painful read.

The Gargoyle
Other than the last 100 pages, this story was strange and lovely. But, the ending became long winded. Overall I liked the book; it was interestingly weird.
