The premise for this book sounds intriguing, however, the writing is very juvenile. It sounds like what I imagine goes on in a gen alpha’s head. I made it maybe 20 pages in and have to quit.

Just finished part 1 of the graphic audio audiobook. Honestly not a fan so far. I had to push through it. Not really looking forward for the next 9 hours, but hopeful it gets better.

For the last two years, I have tried to read it but I could not get into it. Flash forward to today, Spotify now has audiobooks, something I have never ever listened to before. I figured I’ll listen to this to and from work, get through maybe 2 chapters a day. I wish so badly it was in first person narrative though.

DNF @ 30%. Honestly I’ve made it over 150 pages in and nothing has happened. It is all fluff. Boring, useless information. I don’t need 10 pages on what shades your outfit is, or the products you use to style your hair. This book could have easily been cut more than half and still function. Too bored to continue.

Made it 8 pages in and found both characters to be extremely annoying with no redeeming qualities. Next.

I have a feeling the author never went to due to her descriptions of it. A schedule sent to the students house of their classes? Doesn’t happen. Choosing 2 electives and other classes chosen for you? Doesn’t happen. Hoping to have lots of classes with your friend? Doesn’t happen (unless If you’re majoring in the same thing). Plus Molly is really annoying me so far, so not digging that.

Not into characters who smoke marijuana for fun. Next.

Wow I’ve never DNF so quickly before! Made it halfway through the first page and it was already a hard no for me.

DNF @ 53%. I really enjoyed this book up until about 50% but now it’s way too cheesy and unbelievable.
