Koen is nothing like Lowe, which makes things interesting... especially since I adored Lowe.

If I am being honest, I’m largely over my spicy era. I’m not against it; it simply became very repetitive. That being said, intimacy is something completely different, and I can read a scene that is so intimate it makes my heart hurt in a very good way.

All of that to say… I really love how Hazelwood describes the intimacy between her characters.

There are a lot of reasons to enjoy this book, but a big one for me is Ana and Misery’s relationship. Misery may think she doesn’t like kids, but the truth is that she just never got to be one. It’s like she’s finally getting the chance, through Ana, and it’s both sweet and entertaining 🥰

Having Noah’s POV was a great choice for this sequel. Yes, I love Atticus... maybe a bit too much. It’ll be good to get to know Noah now.

I actually enjoy the chapter's with a random POV. It's chaotic but my brain likes the change of pace. Keeps me on my toes. Also, the narrator's voice is perfect for Evie. I saw a couple reviews that didn't like the narration - I actually love it.
