I love it when this happens. A book starts out slow and I'm wondering if I'm going to like it... then suddenly the book is amazing and I've been reading for three straight hours and I'm pissed that I have to put the book down to participate in my life. I should have known better than to doubt K.J. Charles.

This book has a million 5 star reviews and I can't get past the writing style. I read a page and have no idea what I've just read.

Having trouble getting into this one.

Not at all what I expected, but enjoying it so far.

According to Goodreads, I read 6 books in the month of January. According to AO3, I read 51 fics. So an average of 1.9 per day. Maybe I should read less fan fic?

I love the set up for this book but the non-con makes me a little wary. I so want these two to have a HEA.
