As is with most fantasy, I get too caught up/confused with the gradual world building that it’s hard to stay engaged with the actual plot. I’m definitely intrigued, but I’m hoping things pick up and stuff starts making more sense soon so I can really get invested.

This shit is just getting started and I am giggling from their banter. It’s 10/10 🤭🤗

Very curious to see how this unfolds! I’m liking that it starts right away with a sexual awakening. Sometimes those can feel rushed and I’ve never read it where one character is starting on that journey at the very beginning instead of being thrown into it in the middle when the damn breaks.

This is a great little reread for me! Pretty sure this was either the first or one of the first age-gaps I’d ever read. And I’ve never looked back 😜

This one is fucking me up a bit. It’s very different than the rest of the series. Much more intense and a lot more risk. I’m dying to figure out this mystery surrounding Ava and her mental health.
This is not a condition that I’m familiar with and Rina has done a good job of showcasing her humanity and her attempts to have as normal a life as she can.

This one is hitting different than the others. Much darker themes and vibe, but feels more intense and I think it’ll feel more rewarding at the end after all the darkness. I can’t wait 😜

This book is literally altering my DNA…
I have not wanted to put this down, but I have been forced to buy adult. I can tell you that I would finish this book in a day, probably even less, if I had uninterrupted time. ITS THAT GOOD.

I’m only on chapter 9… and I could tell at chapter 6 that this book was going to ruin my fucking life.
The way it makes you feel that feeling of young naivety, of a reckless adolescent adventure that made you feel truly alive. Feelings that you lose as you get older and are faced with some of the harsher realities of the world. God damn, now I’m just bracing for impact. I can’t fuckin wait.

I’m still deciding if I’m going to power through and finish this. It honestly has all the components of a great story, so I want to see if it comes together. But right now at almost 40%, even though he literally uproots his life and says he’s going to win her back no matter what, he then turns around and says he’s like over it every time he hits a speed bump with her. It’s contradicting and annoying.

I’m obsessed. I read the first one in this series and absolutely LOVED it. And this one is somehow even better. The YEARNING is 11/10. The plot is heartfelt and intense. I can’t wait to see how this story wraps up. Keo and Ayden deserve that happily ever after, damnit!

So far so good. I like that they are building this connection and I think that’ll mean it won’t feel forced or sudden. Definitely intrigued and enjoying the characters already
