i love this book, i swear, but holy mother of fuck why are there so many goddamn flashbacks????????

getting grooming vibes. heroine’s getting pretty creepy. might come back later to see if the rest of the book proves me wrong.

getting bored. have been skimming. tbh she gave in too early in the book. i liked how protective he was of her though. and caring. might come back later. or not.

i’ve been struggling to read this tbh. there’s not much keeping them apart, so there’s less angst and things going on compared to the other books in the series. there’s literally just a rlly stupid small misunderstanding, and that’s it - it gets resolved so quickly and then they get together, but not immediately because of some boring stuff i can’t remember. might come back to this later. probably not.

h is running from the H without any explanation. i’m tired of the cheesy lines too.

i like how the H is doing the chasing, but it’s too cheesy and cliché at times. also, there’s so much ✨not like other girls✨ talk from the H’s POV. i’m just about done.

i don’t feel a connection between any of the Hs and the h. there’s not enough substantial moments between them. yeah, we get cute moments (more so w/ the 1st H), but there’s not enough to form a connection.

it’s good, but i’m kinda bored of it. the pacing is a bit slow.

So much confusion. So much information to take in. Not really a fan of both of the H’s. h is a badass though.

Don’t really feel like reading on tbh :/ for the last few chapters, I’ve been reading to finish the book soooo.

Also, kael is a doormat. The heroine doesn’t deserve him. And I still don’t know what the fuck is going on with killian.
