Page 134: “first responders to race to an Amish school when a local milk truck driver went on a killing rampage, murdering 5 girls.”
I feel like these statements contradict themselves.
Sorry, I’m hung up on that statement. Someone help me understand?
Have moved on in the book, and enjoying this far.

There is a lot of parallelism to the book “The Return of the Prodigal Son” by Henri J.m. Nouwen. I am reading both these in correlation with the 40 days of prayer.

This is a book I will continually be reading.

I had a library patron complain about the language of this book, so I am reading it .

Pg. 55 mention of fornication

Really? A reference to “they,” “she,” and “he?”

Got to stop the pain now! Too bad this was a book club read. No idea what they were thinking??!!

I could not finish this book!

Not to mention pages upon pages of emails between 2 people. Lacks passion, lacks romance, lacks the time for me to read. I’m done! I have no desire to know this ending. I just wish I had spent less time on it.
Come on, it’s a “Reese’s Book Club” read.

Are you kidding me right now? I want to read to escape reality. Romance now coupled with COVID and throw in “white people with white led companies admitting racism occurs?”

Apparently I’m missing something because it is very difficult to get into.

I’m only on page 41 and already confused about the amount of different characters!
