I've read all the Ripley books several times. If there is better summer reading, I'd like to know.

So far it's pretty good but there are a few annoying plot points - why is the cafeteria never open even though everyone complains about it? Why is her pager always off?

I'll finish it, but almost quit halfway. A little too YA fiction for this old lady.

So far pretty great. Borrow drags his wife and daughter to Wales and proceeds to leave them to their own devices as he practices his Welsh and learns some stories. He traveled in 1854, when the old ways were still in evidence and in local memory, though disappearing.

I picked up an old paperback copy at the thrift store and am really enjoying it.
