I just finished In the Heart of Life: A Memoir and gave it 5 stars.

Not going to continue reading. Will spend my time on another book.

I just finished Murder on The Mind (The Jeff Resnick Mystery Series Book 1) and gave it 3 stars. I tend to be stingy with stars. This book was entertaining and I enjoyed the main characters. I look forward to following them again in the second book of the series.

I just finished fathermothergod: My Journey Out of Christian Science and gave it 4 stars.

Enjoying this mystery mainly because it takes place on the east side of Detroit and Grosse Pointe MI. -- an area that I know well. Otherwise, it is typical -- a woman is murdered and a PI (former cop) is hired to find her killer. Standard who done it fare but entertaining with a big touch of where I grew up.

A 5 star recommendation. A wonderful book about women in the French underground during WWll. A well written moving story.. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

It was a quick read and a break from regular reading routine. A nice diversion. Probably falls under " chic lit," and it has a great title.

I think it's terrific. Liked from the beginning and looking forward to continuing.
