Oh I'm in a reading slump - over 100 books on the shelf to read and none of them will do. Back to Pratchett it is...

Really struggling with this...I've never been so disturbed by a book. It's making me feel physically sick.

Alanna is on page 165 of 416 of Belladonna (Belladonna, #1)

I’ve been in a bit of a reading funk this month. I’d given myself too many goals what with buddy reads, several book clubs and trying to keep the TBR list diverse. I’ve slacked it all off and gone back to something easy and cosy - my genre will always be YA fantasy, no matter how much I fight it.

Alanna is starting Where the Crawdads Sing

I’ve put this off for as long as I can…triggered to read by the new film coming out (and looking decent). I think this will be a love or hate situation 😬

Probably the most bizarre book I’ve ever read. I’m going to have to re-read it.

I've scanned all the books I own that I haven't read yet and it totals 53 books - if I assume that each book has an average cost of £7 (I usually buy new AND I love a hardback, so it's a conservative estimate), then I have £371 worth of unread books just lying around in my house.

New challenge: I'm not allowed to buy a new book until I've read 3 off my "own-to-read" shelf.

I'm appalled and also quite proud.
