Oh, another: three pages ago the protagonist notes that a woman has the body of someone who has given birth. Now she’s surprised to discover that the same woman has a child.

The copyediting in this is shocking. Every other page, there is some malapropism or obvious substitution error that any editor worth their salt should have caught. Just now, someone was “clambering to leave” (clamoring) “nonetheless” (notwithstanding) the captain’s concerns. What is Harper Voyager even doing?
