This is challenging & a great reminder - are we choosing friends based on similarities or the gospel? Would our friendship exist outside of the gospel? That’s not inherently bad; but we should be seeking closeness and community with those inside our church walls who may not even share commonalities with us/me. I would maybe even argue, that’s where we know we’re truly friends! Great read so far!
