The descriptive language is so good it makes you want to move to Parma! To sit outside a cafe and have the little espressos and newspapers, the prosciutto and parmigiano and perhaps watch a game or two :-D

Page turner, is all I can think of. Although far from my forties, I feel as though I'm holding Marilyn's hand through it all. Terry Mc Millan has a gift in writing. She makes the characters seem so real so much so that I think I would automatically dislike anyone by the name 'Leon'. Lol
And by the way, being a Kenyan native, I have never heard of the word 'Ayanna' leave alone it's meaning of beautiful flower

Julia has a gift in descriptive language. I almost forget that I am not reading a poetry book.
