I rarely DNF but right now with current events I simply cannot read about a hero who tortures people

As soon as I though that the set up reminds me of The Hating Game the author mentioned it as well. There are some nice literary references and the signature sense of humor. I think this reminds me of Kristen Higgins latest books as well. The emphasis is on the personal growth rather than the romance

Every time I read the names Roger and Dodger my mind goes to the Muppet twins Skeeter and Scooter

This book is a riot!

I have to hand it to Blake Crouch his books are very immersive
