NOWHERE near as good as her first book. Longer stories. I like Kathryn’s narration. Just meh on this one.

You’re standard personal finance book. Nothing new. Nothing standout.

The more I read this book, the more I am convinced if you were any type of lodging place, you had to pay to be in this book. I am seeing resorts listed that I’m like cool place, but this is cooler than the Von Trapp Family Resort that has a museum attached? Uhhh the sound of music is a global phenomenon? Make it make sense cuz I see only greed. It’ll be a two star if it is lucky. I simply can’t get past it

How in the hell do you write this book and not include Dan Simmons A Winter Haunting? I am hoping this is redeemed somewhere. This is where I am seriously judging this book my first day in.

I will say that I have added several books to my TBR. On that note, As I check each book she has recommended, a chunk have been panned by Goodreads readers. I always say a book’s beauty is in the eye of the reader.

This is the weirdest structured cookbook. No chapters/sections. Recipes Willy nilly. Just weird.

To be honest, this book already lost me. How do you not have the Von Trapp Family Lodge as a 1000 things to see? The Sound of Music and the Von Trapps are a huge part of American culture. It is a good thing I got this book for $2! 🤣

This book right here is why I will always be a subscriber to Kindle Unlimited. I have made several recipes out of this book. My husband has enjoyed all. Best part…it was part of my subscription!

10/5 stars. This book is a must read! I learned so much from this book and made notes and highlights left and right.

When you know one hour in that a book is so bad that you know you don’t want to waste one more brain cell despite getting the book for free.

Note to author: If you were trying to pay homage to Jane Eyre, you failed MISERABLY!

3.5 stars. Gotta say I’m shocked how much I enjoyed this book. I will continue this series.

Highly predictable, but I am really enjoying the ride.

10/5 stars. I absolutely love studying anything related to AL and the Civil War. I have read well over 100 books on the subject. This is one of the best and engaging reads. The author went into detail compared to other books on the subject that I found myself highly engaged with the book.

I haven’t had a book piss me off in a long time and this is a work of fiction. Bravo!

This was an AMAZING listen with phenomenal twists. It did have a small period where I thought it dragged, I gave it a pass for a great twist ending.

Such promise for a fun creepy read that has come off as sophomoric and difficult to keep my attention. A waste of my money that reminds me why I need to start using my library again. So far a hard one star from me that I don’t see changing.

This book needs to be commissioned for a movie immediately. In a world of cookie cutter books, this book is a muffin.

Really hope they continue this wonderful series! This one was fun. I loved I had to force myself to pace listening to it.

I was so excited for this book. What had started off as a book with deep promise has become just a silly read. Very rapidly becoming highly discouraged to even want to finish it despite needing it for a year end challenge.

Holy cow…this book is BAD! The narration only makes it worse.
