Flora Reigada is starting His Other Wife
I read 17% so far and the suspense slowly builds in this psychological drama featuring two women "battling" for a man's heart and that of his child.
Nicole Trope is an excellent writer.

I continue to enjoy this book, in which the author implemented humor to cope with a difficult situation. There is something in this for everyone.

I just finished the final section in the devotional, "Critiquing Canticles," by Tony Hilling and I am amazed by his depth, and that of each contributor to this devotional. I recommend it.

Still enjoying the "Cattle Drive" with all its gun battles, greed and grit in America's Old West.

I finished reading the third and fourth sets of devotions: "Clinging to the Rock" by Marcia Lee Laycock and "Moments in the Word" by Janice L. Dick. My horizons are broadened by their unique perspectives. I am now reading another set: "Uplifting Devotions for Parents" by Ruth L. Snyder and gleaning from her wisdom, too.

I enjoyed the second set of devotions, "Taking A Walk With Jesus," by Tracy Krauss. That's exactly what these devotions are encouraging me to do, in the everyday moments of life, as Krauss writes. Insightful is the word that comes to mind.

Through Big Jim Williams' excellent writing, I've "joined" the cattle drive, with the cowboys, grit and realistic picture of those times. I'm loving it.

I just began "Uplifting Devotionals, Book III" and cannot get enough of the first bundle: "Rooted: Finding God in the Gardens of Scripture," by Murray Pura. I love the parallel he draws between a monastery garden and those of heaven and earth, as well as how that relates to Eden's echoes within our souls. Pura's devotions are drawing me there. To think, I have only begun reading this insightful devotional.

So far, my favorite devotion in this is "Urgent Grace." It's about how being in a hurry empties our souls. That spoke to me and I think it speaks to our culture.

I just finished reading "Here We Come A-Wassailing." Its conclusion left me with the warm feeling of budding romance and more to come.

Although I am enjoying the messages in these devotions, I find the author's "folksy" style of writing distracting.

I just finished reading Christmas Dreams in the fourth volume. So far, it is my favorite story. Just as a young man in this story looked heaven-ward toward the sky, it made me look heaven-ward too. It contained a sense of wonder.
