Already finding this so overwritten and pretentious and boring.

I wouldn't have picked this up if it weren't for a book club - especially knowing what I know now about Shriver...

I'm not *totally* sure why I'm putting myself through this, but the audiobook was available through my library, and here we are.

Two chapters in and I'm already fully on board the hype train.

I want to be reading this forever but equally my heart and brain cannot deal.

How is this so broad and complex without ever feeling cluttered or confusing?

I don't really know if I totally understand everything that's going on, but nevertheless, this is brilliant.

I'm listening to the audiobook of this, and it's incredibly moving in lots of ways, but I'm not sure it's for me? It's quite anecdotal and not very structured. The stories are heartbreaking though.

Loved the first story!

I thought I'd dnf this book around page 50, but something about the writing style and the complexity of the characters kept me going. I'm glad it did.

I was worried the first act was starting to drag, but now the Will Graysons have met, I'm totally back on board.

The writing style is a lot more juvenile than I remembered, but now we're into the real grit of the story, the content is more than making up for it.

I'm really torn. I love seeing proper fat girl representation, and the prose is very sweet and easy to read. But certain parts of Willowdean's story feel at odds with the message this book is trying to send - I just hope everything gets reconciled.

Dodie writes about mental health beautifully. I'm hoping the rest of her book lives up.

Gorgeously written and so gripping. I'm flying through it.

I love Perry's writing style, but I don't love the content as much as I thought I would.

Would it be cheesy if I called this book addictive? Because it is.

Don't love this as much as I have loved other E Lockhart books, but it's so fun and easy to read that I don't mind too much.

I had forgotten how much I enjoyed reading YA literature. Simon is wonderful. Teenagers are awful. I am hugely enjoying this book.

Please don't judge me. But I am truly fascinated.

Something is rubbing me up the wrong way about this - particularly Evie, I think - but I'm not totally sure why, yet.

Hannah has a fab way with words. She's chatty but engaging and so far this has been a joy to read.

I'm doing that thing where I don't want to finish the book so I refuse to pick it up for the final couple of chapters.
