New morning devotional. Soul enriching

I admittedly know absolutely nothing about this book or series, and never really understood the fascination. Something about it seemed kinda lame compared with the Tolkienverse. But curiosity got the best of me.

The start is quite cartoony, almost roald Dahl eske at some points. But well written and some nice character building.

Mind reading robots - something freaky about this concept

Actually really loving this anthology. Donovan and Powell stories are a lot of fun.

Both charming and alarming. Charming in that it follows a little girl's affection for her robot childminder. Alarming in that it raises some modern concerns about the next generations overdependence on technology. Should it be removed, contained or cultivated?

Making my way through a high profile conversion from baptist to orthodox. Makes you think about some of the serious problems that plague modern evangelicalism (especially around the topic of worship). Still, I do believe these problems can be addressed within house rather than jumping ship.
