Definitely reading this with a grain of salt, as it’s pretty sensationally written and even crass at times. But that being said I’m still learning stuff. Even somewhat widespread use of Pervitin (think meth, but make it 1930s) a) in a military campaign and b) from over-the-counter (!) purchase in civilian life, for instance, def warrants a story in my book.
