Oh dear. I'm not sure I like this twist

Lana is...a lot, but also a great character (awfully flawed, but there's this determination...). So is Jac (too young, a little silly, but also pretty strong). Not convinced on Beth yet, I guess her bit will come soon.

I figured that event would be a wee ways off, so if I'm only at 44% an awful lot more is to happen!!!

Now that I'm through the beginning choppy bits with all the quotes, and into the beginning proper of the story, I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

While the writing is excellent, all these people are awful...and I'm not sure I'd call this satirical

Yep. Helena is disgusting - so much awful I don't want to get into a rant right now, but someone better take out that murderer before she takes out everyone.

Wow. So unsurprisingly I'm not a Helena fan. Let's just say, clearly she's going to be the one who brings about the big bad that she's trying to stop. Too busy stabbing mates in the back because she'd rather be right.
